Within Hope’s Reach by Emily Stalder Johnson

It’s the turn of the twentieth century. The month of May finds Dublin Caldwell and his family happy and well, until dramatic events unfold rather quickly. A dangerous situation suddenly arises now from an encounter two years ago involving Dublin, his adoptive uncle, Carter Fallon, and an unknown man, whom Carter had no choice but to kill in self-defense.
